Gainsborough charity spreads Christmas cheer in aid of food bank
Gainsborough based charity Laybo’s Legacy will host the one and only Santa Claus on Sunday 17 December at the Riverside Room at the United Services Club on Bridge Street, DN21 1LP.
You better watch out and get ready to join in with this magical experience where you can meet Santa Claus himself before he sets off on his trip around the world, spreading Christmas joy. There will also be entertainment from Dream a Little Dream, Salvation Army Band, Stalls, delicious food and drink, face painting and a chance to win big on their fabulous raffle and tombola!
Christmas is a time for giving, so as an entry fee, they ask all visitors to bring two items that can be donated to the Salvation Army Food Bank to help those in need. Items needed are UHT milk, Weetabix, tinned meat, tuna, tomatoes, soup, and beans.
All children that visit Santa will receive a free gift and also have the chance to get their face painted, plus make their own reindeer food to take home for the big day.
