The Christmas Lights Festival in Gainsborough is the perfect opportunity to light up your festivities with live music, vintage funfair, delicious food & drink and more!
Friday 20 November, 3pm to 8pm
Gainsborough Market Place
Step back in time with vintage fairground* fun including swing boats, high striker, and other nostalgic rides that will bring your festive cheer to life. Enjoy live music and entertainment from local schools and artists, plus a live DJ set and performances.
The market place will be filled with an assortment of merry traders offering delicious food and drink as well as an opportunity to start on your Christmas shopping with gift ideas galore. Visitors will also be kept entertained with street entertainment**, including light up angel stilt walkers and elves.
The Giant Snow Globe is back!
We’re pleased to confirm that the giant snow globe will return this year, giving you the perfect opportunity to get those Christmas snaps with your family and friends.
**Please note that the walkabout street entertainment is subject to adequate weather conditions.
All rides will be 50p again this year. Ride tokens will be available to purchase on the day at the token booth!
Gainsborough Town Council will also be hosting a modern fairground at Bridge Street Car Park, directly behind Sports Direct. Please note rides will be charged separately to the market place.
