The Christmas Lights Festival in Gainsborough is the perfect opportunity to light up your festivities with live music, vintage funfair, delicious food & drink and more!
Friday 14 November, 3pm to 9pm
Gainsborough Market Place

Step back in time with vintage fairground* fun including swing boats, high striker, and other nostalgic rides that will bring your festive cheer to life. Enjoy live music and entertainment from local schools and artists, plus a live DJ set and performances from our headline act Band From County Hell!
The market place will be filled with an assortment of merry traders offering delicious food and drink as well as an opportunity to start on your Christmas shopping with gift ideas galore. Visitors will also be kept entertained with street theatre**, including Inka the Polar Bear, Giant Elves and balloon modelling from the talented Mr Twist.
*All rides are 50p each.
**Please note that the walkabout street entertainment is subject to adequate weather conditions.

Ride tokens will be available to purchase on the day at just 50p each! Beat the queues with advanced token sales available from Alfie’s Deli in the Market Place, , open Monday to Saturday 8am to 4.30pm and Sundays, 10am to 4pm.

Don’t forget to head down to Baltic Mill where you can jump in to Santa’s Sleigh for festive photo fun! Gainsborough Town Council will also be hosting a modern fairground at Bridge Street Car Park, directly behind Sports Direct. Please note rides will be charged separately to the market place.
